What are Agilar's payment and cancellation policies?
General Conditions Agilar:

1. Payment conditions

1.1. Unless otherwise agreed with you, your reserved seat in the training will only be guaranteed after the payment of this invoice has been received.
 
1.2. The European Directive 2011/07/EU will apply in case of issues with payments.

2. Cancelations

Cancellation of training by participants:

We recognize that on occasions participants will book onto trainings and subsequently find that they are unable to attend.

Upon cancelation of a participant for a training, please send cancellation details to Agilar by email or by telephone and inform Agilar if you wish to send a replacement participant.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

•	If you notify your cancellation up to two weeks prior to the event, we will provide a full refund or offer a transfer of credit for another training.
•	If you notify your cancellation less than two weeks prior to the event the half cost will be payable. 
•	If you notify your cancellation less than five days prior to the event the full cost will be payable.
•       Any inscription changes and partial or complete rebookings will be subject to a discretionary administrative fee of 100 euros plus potential expenses. 

Cancellation of a training by Agilar:

Agilar is committed to offering high quality services that meet the needs of our customers and will always aim to run announced trainings once participants have booked onto them.

Occasionally circumstances will arise which result in the need to cancel a training. When this is the case Agilar will take active and positive steps to inform you as soon as possible by phone and/or email.

Agilar reserves the right to modify or cancel any training if unforeseen circumstances arise but we will do our utmost to avoid doing so.

Where Agilar cancels a training that you have paid to attend, we will offer you a full refund (or a credit transfer for a future training). Full advice on refunds/credits will be provided at the time of cancellation.

For which services can I request the KMO-portefeuille subsidy? And what are the steps to apply?
'Agilar Benelux' is a recognized service provider for the KMO portefeuille for education. Our registration number is: DV.O217884. 

This means that a company that is eligible for KMO portefeuille receives a 40% subsidy with a maximum of 10,000 euro aid per year for small businesses or 30% subsidy with a maximum of 15,000 euro aid per year for medium-sized enterprises. This applies for both our public and in-house trainings.The amount of support you receive depends on the size of your company. The official size of your KMO depends on your number of employees, sales and total profit. This subsidy is applicable only to companies registered in the Flemish Provinces of Belgium. Apply:
If you want to apply for a subsidy for the first time, you must first register your company on the KMO website: http://www.kmo-portefeuille.be/

Enrol:
Enrol the person who works in your company into one of our trainings in the Agilar website and mention in the 'comments' that you want to benefit from the KMO portefeuille. The application for a subsidy then happens online after you have enrolled the person. Upon your application we will receive an automatic e-mail to inform us about this. We will then send you an invoice. The government requires that the application must be submitted no later than 14 days after the start date of the training.

Payment: 
You need to pay the VAT amount directly on the Agilar account number mentioning the invoice number in your payment. 

You also deposit the 60% (or 70% depending on the size of your company) of the total amount of the training into the KMO portefeuille system. Next, the government will deposit the remaining amount. 
It is often overlooked that when both amounts are deposited you still need to give the 'go' in the system to go ahead with the payment towards Agilar. 

We can connect with ease the incoming payment to our invoice based on the project number given to the subsidy request.

An example: 
The training costs 1425 euro with 21% VAT worth 299,25 euro
- You deposit 299,25 euro VAT on the Agilar account number mentioning the Agilar invoice number.
- You deposit 60% of the total amount of 1425 euro in the KMO portefeuille system, this is 855 euro.
- Following this the government deposits the remaining amount or 570 euro. 
- When the total amount is present you need to give the 'go' to deposit the money from the KMO system to Agilar. 
- With this everything is handled.

Agilar Benelux is erkend dienstverlener voor KMO-portefeuille voor de peiler opleiding. Ons registratienummer is: DV.O217884. 

Dit betekent dat een onderneming die in aanmerking komt voor KMO-portefeuille een subsidie van 40% ontvangt met een maximum van 10.000 euro steun per jaar voor kleine ondernemingen of 30% met een maximum van 15.000 euro steun per jaar voor middelgrote ondernemingen. En dit zowel voor onze publieke trainingen als in-house opleidingen. Hoeveel steun u ontvangt, is afhankelijk van de grootte van uw onderneming. Registreren:
Als u voor de eerste keer een subsidieaanvraag wil doen, moet u uw onderneming eerst registreren: http://www.kmo-portefeuille.be/

Subsidieaanvraag:
Schrijf eerst de persoon die werkt binnen uw onderneming in voor de training op onze website en geef aan in de 'comments' dat u graag geniet van de KMO portefeuille subsidie. De subsidieaanvraag gebeurt dan online in het KMO systeem nadat u de persoon hebt ingeschreven voor een training. Uw aanvraag om een training bij Agilar te volgen kunt u indienen in het systeem van KMO portefeuille zodat wij hiervan automatisch een mail ontvangen. Wij sturen u daarna een factuur die in de details voldoet aan de eisen van de KMO portefeuille. Elke subsidieaanvraag moet ten laatste 14 dagen na de startdatum van de prestaties zijn ingediend.

Betaling: 
In eerste instantie hoort u ook het bedrag van de BTW rechtstreeks op het bankrekening nummer van Agilar te storten. Volg hierbij de instructies op de factuur en stort enkel het BTW bedrag en met vermelding van ons factuur nummer. 
U stort ook de 60% (of 70% afhankelijk van de grote van je KMO) van het totaal bedrag van de training in het systeem van KMO portefeuille. De overheid stort daarop het overige gedeelte ook in dezelfde subsidieaanvraag. Opgepast, u moet na het storten van beide bedragen in de subsidieaanvraag nog zelf de 'go' geven om de betaling naar Agilar te laten doorgaan. Dit wordt vaak over het hoofd gezien. 

Wij kunnen dit binnenkomende bedrag aan de hand van het project nummer die vermeld wordt bij de betaling zonder probleem linken aan onze factuur. 

Een voorbeeld: 
De training kost 1425 euro en daarbij komt 21% BTW of 299,25 euro. 
- U stort 299,25 euro op het rekeningnummer vermeld op de factuur van Agilar en als mededeling voegt u het factuurnummer toe. 
- U stort 60% van het totaal bedrag van 1425 euro in het systeem van KMO portefeuille, dit is 855 euro. 
- De overheid stort daarop de andere 40% of 570 euro. 
- Eens het volledige bedrag van 1425 euro in het KMO systeem aanwezig is geeft u de 'go' tot betaling naar Agilar toe.
- Hierbij is alles afgehandeld.

I am a PMP, can I collect PDU’s when I take a Certified Scrum Master or a Certified Scrum Product Owner training?
How many PDU’s can I collect when I take the 2 day training? 

    CSM, CSPO and all our other courses give "Class B - Technical" PDUs. One PDU = one hour of learning. One day of training gives a net 7 hours of learning and 1 hour of breaks. 

What is the procedure to apply for PMI PDUs?

  When you are logged in with your PMI profile you should follow the following procedure:

•	Choose the menu item: Certification -> Maintain your certification: Earn and report PDUs. Follow the guideline
•	Report PDUs
•	Course or Training

Fill in the following form:
•	Provider: Agilar
•	Activity: ScrumMaster Certification Course
•	Description: Process groups: Planning, Executing, Controlling (others might apply)
Knowledge areas: Time, Scope, Risk, Quality (others might apply)


Please note:
•	Activity: Enter the activity that you attended. You can search for an activity from the PMI Education Directory or type in the name of an activity you attended hosted by a third-party. If a Provider from the PMI Education Provider Directory was selected, the activity results will be limited to the activities offered by that provider.
•	Description: Describe the type of course or training you attended. You can include the type of activity, a summary about the course, or other helpful information that explains the learning objectives of the course.
